Hi, I’m Anupam Saxena, the creator of Prime Health.
For over 9 years, I struggled with my weight.
Like many people, I believed the answer was simply to exercise more.
I walked over 10,000 steps almost every day.
I spent hours cycling.
I burned hundreds of calories through exercise.
Yet my weight barely changed.
In January 2026, after another conversation where I was told to “just do more running,” I asked myself one simple question:
What does running actually do?
The answer was obvious.
It burns calories.
But I was already burning plenty.
So why wasn’t I losing weight?
I stopped guessing.
I opened an AI assistant and explained everything honestly—every cup of tea, every roti, every meal.
The answer surprised me.
I wasn’t failing because I wasn’t exercising enough.
I was eating at maintenance calories.
That realization changed everything.
Instead of starving myself or giving up my favourite foods, I created a few simple rules:
📅 23 January 2026: 79.10 kg
📅 5 October 2026: 67.60 kg
Nearly 11+ kilograms lost without extreme diets or impossible workouts.
Then I realized something.
If I had misunderstood weight loss for years…
Millions of other people probably had too.
So I built the app I wish I had from the beginning.
Prime Health isn’t just a calorie tracker.
Its goal is to help people understand how weight loss actually works, stay consistent, and avoid being discouraged by normal daily weight fluctuations.
